UNM's Campus Geography

UNM On-Campus Property Definition:

Any building or property owned or controlled by an institution within the same reasonably contiguous geographic area and used by the institution in direct support of, or in a manner related to, the institution’s educational purposes, including residence halls; and Any building or property that is within or reasonably contiguous to the area identified in paragraph (1) of this definition, that is owned by the institution but controlled by another person, is frequently used by students, and supports institutional purposes (such as a food or other retail vendor).

UNM’s Non-Campus Clery Geography would include the following buildings, but is not limited to only these buildings:

  • UNM West
  • Mesa Del Sol
  • Many UNM Clinics
  • Sandoval Regional Medical Center
  • Sevilleta Research Area
  • CASAA
  • DH Lawrence Ranch
  • Student Trips, including faculty led trips, athletics trips or other student trips where students stay for more than one night at a location, are also included within our Non-Campus Property

UNM’s Public Property Clery Geography includes roadways, including the sidewalk on both sides of the these streets that directly border UNM’s campus:

  • University Blvd.
  • Central Blvd.
  • Lomas Blvd.
  • Vassar Dr.
  • Stanford Dr.
  • Avenida De Cesar Chavez
  • Buena Vista Dr.
  • Indian School Rd.
